Learn PHP with Java and Learn PHP well if you are getting into web development. Also learn Flash you will need that as well.

I would use the Professional version if you are just starting out the Express Edition is fine but if you are going to be using if for creating games and such spend the money and get the Pro Version.

No I dont think you jumped into C++ to fast learn the syntax and learn it will and then try to pay attention to the logic that needs to be used and you will be on your way it takes time when learning it on your own, get a C++ programming book from the library it will help you understand C++ a lot better then going online then when you have read the book then go back and start searching the web it will be a lot clearer.

You need to get yourself a good book and you can get them from the library and if you really want to learn you will work at it till you understand it.

Learn all you can about C and C++ they are the major languages used in making most of the games that we play. I am in the IT computer programming program and it is not all that hard to learn with a instructor but trying to learn it on my own I think would have taken a lot longer. I use netbeans to do most of my programs and I also use visual basic 2005 and 2008 to run my games.
